HSE SPECIALIST

Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma (or equivalent combination of education

  and experience) in a related field
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and

  spoken
- Be conversant with local and international HSES laws,

  codes, regulations, and norms

Responsibility:
- Provide HSE leadership to field personnel and set standards

  of behaviour
- Have a working knowledge of current HSES policies,

  procedures, and regulations
- Ensure company HSE policies and procedures are implemented

  consistently and effectively and are known and understood

  by all employees
- Regularly inspect work areas to identify unsafe acts and

  conditions and advise line management of those that cannot

  immediately be corrected
- Assist with incident investigations and compilation of

  reports
- Monitor maintenance and inspection of the lifesaving and

  firefighting equipment
- Keep supervisors advised of such acts
- Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and

  conditions and alerts line management to problems
- Prepared Work Method Statement (WMS) and Task Risk

  Assessment (TRA)
