Established since 2006, PT United Sindo Perkasa shipyard (PT USP) is owned by Vallianz Holdings Ltd located in Kabil Industry Zone of Batam in Indonesia. Our shipyard serves as a marine base for vessel docking, repair and maintenance works and our operations possess strong in-house fabrication and engineering capabilities such as ship building, ship conversion, ship repair, machining works, piping repairs and installation and mechanical repair of marine equipment.

ASSISTANT MANAGER HSE

Requirements :

- Diploma/Degree with good knowledge, certified, experiences in marine industry or shipyard wok activities

- Good job knowledge of related jobs

- Well verse in English communication both speaking and writing

- Location : Batam, Riau Island, Indonesia

Purpose Job :

To assist Manager and the HSE team as overall in assuring and ensuring that all HSE practices and procedures run well in the field to create a work environment that cares about occupational safety and health

Job Responsibilities :

- To report and assist the HSE manager in role of as follow

- Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for all level staff within organization, it is included in planning and implement OHS policies and Program, Reviewing, adhere all rules and regulations, conduct risk assessment, identifying bottleneck and offer solutions

- Assists the HSE manager in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers

- Prepares appropriate notices for management to issue for abatement of any identified hazards

- Assures that claims for injuries and illnessas posted in SMIS are posted in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration log Work with HR to set up a new employee on boarding process for safety Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety To communicate with all employees (under own responsibility) related site environmental awareness to improve waste reduction program, les energy consumption and other

- Support site environmental program and plan by integrating company env

- Goals into department KPI/Key Performance Indicator
