SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a degree in Chemical Engineering as a minimum
- At least 5 years of working experience in a process related manufacturing or process consulting environment
- Knowledge in Process Technical Software eg. HYSYS/ ASPEN TECH/ MICROSOFT VISIO/AUTOCAD will be an added advantage
- Excellent inter-personal skills, written and verbal communications skills
- Strong leadership qualities and analytical abilities
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common technical information, contracts, reports, international codes and standards
- Based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia
Responsibilities:
- Assisting Process Head in providing the overall process designs for a new project and suggesting improvement measures to the existing
manufacturing facilities
- This includes development of process flows, design basis, control
philosophy, sizing of Thermal design, correctness of process
specs/data sheets/design, equipment selection, and other related
process design
- Support engineering team through development and implementation of
conceptual alternatives for processes and equipment for
improvement of existing and development of new processes or new technology
- Work closely with contracted engineering firms to ensure that all
engineering and design activities are carried out to meet project
objectives, schedule milestones and quality requirements
- Work closely with Procurement team to ensure purchased/out sourced
work or items are of approved standard and specification
- Review process design document at all process design stages and
assist in interdisciplinary co-ordination
- Follow up with operations on the result and resolve problems that
may have developed post commissioning
